Can clay and natural paint be used in bars, cafes & restaurants?

Yes, clay plaster walls and our raw earth paint finishes are completely suitable for commercial premises due to its ability to be repaired if accidentally damaged or knocked. And because dirt and knocks are far less noticeable than standard other walls, this allows for an aesthetic and function that far outlasts other materials usually used in commercial spaces. The only place clay plaster can not be used is in the actual food preparation areas, but all other areas such as entrances, eating and drinking spaces and around bar and counter areas is perfect.

Is clay plaster expensive?

Compared to commonly used standard plaster, natural clay walls have an added cost of around 30% due to the fact it is a speciality technique made from purely sourced raw natural materials, and then made bespoke for your project by hand. However the durability of clay plaster will far outlast any other standard plasters and because it is easily repaired and does not show scuff or dirt marks like other plasters, the longevity of clay will give time served cost saving benefits which far outweigh the initial cost of installation. Plus you can also change the colour when you need a change of design and we offer a full fixing and repair add on service for any accidental damage or dents, which is not possible to achieve with other toxic plaster and painting materials.

Do you work weekends and evenings?

Yes, if you have a project that needs completing fast we can send a team out to work evenings and weekends. We can also work around your other trades people and help with creating your space so that the beauty of your walls become part of your overall design and aesthetic.
